Saw you at the RT35 Blockbuster in Ocean N.J. last weekend, but you were to busy to talk. I'm a bass player with Funktion 11 and we rehearsed in the recording studio at the Jam Room Monday, the night before you recorded. Hope everything went well.

I met you at the Musikmesse Frankfurt where I was working from Wednesday to Saturday (March, 12 to 15th 2008) in the Agora tent in the backstage area as security staff. So I could see all your great shows three times each day.

Do you remember that you let me dance on your stage? I had to ask my boss to allow me to dance for you during my working time. My boss said yes.

Then you announced me as "my girl from backstage" and you let me dance some minutes on your stage.

You found my dance very nice and gave me your wonderful CD Africans in the snow.

Later I found a poster in the tent with your picture. I showed the poster to you and I said to you: "I am your new fan."

The music on your CD is great and really marvellous.

I would like to stay in contact with you. If you want, write me an e-mail.

I would be glad if I ever had the chance to dance on your stage again.

Your shows really fascinate the audience!

You told me: "I like people." And I said to you: "Yes, and people feel that you like the audience, and that's why people love you."

I regret I could not say good-bye to you because after your last show I had to go on working in another place.

Your shows were the best of all I have ever seen!

I vividly remember a TM Stevens bass clinic at The Bass Centre in London many years ago. For a couple of hours, we in the audience were told that all funk is "on the one". I've never forgotten it, not because of the double-necked Warwick bass with the world-map painted on it, but because "all funk is on the one". Peace, Mark
